"Torrevecchia" lies sheltered by a VII° century Crypt, where Byzantine style frescos can be found, conjuring up memories of a time gone by. In the 14th century farmhouse, carefully and painstakingly restored, comfort dominates.
Only a select number of rooms nestle in the tranquil rural surroundings, providing a typical Puglian cuisine, made with organic ingredients grown and produced on the farm, creating an idyllic place for relaxing and rejuvenating.
Time passes in a pleasurable farm setting, relaxing by the swimming pool, on our tennis courts, or by playing bowls. One can go for walks in the surrounding countryside, ride bikes, go horse riding or simply sample the colours and smells from the seat of our pony and trap, creating a feeling of well being and transporting all cares away.
Situated only 10 Km from the magnificent waters of the Ionian sea, with its’ fantastic beach life including Porto Cesareo, Santa Caterina, Gallipoli, and only a short drive away from the famous Baroque city of Lecce, Torrevecchia is in an excellent position.
To the north we can also find the beautiful white city of Ostuni, the reconstructed village of "Trulli" (antique Puglian houses) at Alberello, Cisternino, the caves of Castellana and Martina Franca
