Torre Pratesi
Torre Pratesi was built around 1510 on a ridge in the hills of Romagna, on an ancient Etruscan road not too far from Tuscany. In 1600 the invention of gunpowder deprived Torre Pratesi of its defensive function. The Tower was then roofed and turned into a hunting lodge.
In the following centuries it was used for several purposes and in 1800 a solid farmhouse was built nearby.
Torre Pratesi as we see it today is the result of an extremely accurate restoration. Here, atmospheres and sensations of a bygone era will be magically revived , in harmony with nature.
