Locanda Del Viandante
“Locanda del Viandante” is an ancient, typical stone-inn of the Umbrian region and is located in the centre of the “Podere Poboccolo”, a small biological farm located in the territory of the commune of Montegabbione, in a splendid panoramic location. They are still uncontaminated places, crossed by a network of excursion paths, among woods rich of games and ancient middle age castles.
The landscape is a high hill of woods, pasture lands, natural meadows and olive groves. From the “Patio della Locanda” (Patio of the Inn) the sun sets on the mountain “Monte Amiata”.
For people having the intent to visit the region, the position is strategic: we are in fact near the borders of the area of Orvieto, near Tuscany, and at the same time only 35 kilometres far from Perugia.
